Q: Where do you hand deliver?

A: We offer same day hand delivery to business and residence locations through the New Orleans metropolitan area, including New Orleans CBD, Orleans Parish, the Northshore, Jefferson Parish, St. Bernard Parish, the River Parishes, Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes. We will gladly ship UPS to areas outside of these boundaries.

Q: Do you offer same day hand delivery?

A: Yes! We are happy to hand deliver your gift to a special recipient, just give us a call if you need it today. If you order online please let us know you would like it delivered today by indicating that in the “comments” section of the order form.

Q: Can my basket be put inside the hotel room when you deliver?

A: Yes. We work with the front desk and concierges at all of the hotels and request that your gift be put inside the room. Room fees may apply depending on the hotel. We'll contact you regarding additional fees.

Q: Can I send a personalized message with my gift Basket

A: Yes, you can! Your baskets will all arrive with your free personalized handwritten gift card message.

Q: Can I substitute an item(s) in the basket or create a custom basket?

A: Yes! We can make substitutions or customize any of the gift baskets on our website. Don’t see what you had in mind for your gift? Simply call the store and discuss your order with one of our Creative Team members.

Q: How long will the gourmet foods last in my gift basket?

A: The gourmet foods in your gift basket will be best if eaten within three months from the time it is received. Many items will last longer. Call us if you have a question about a specific item. Items like fruit and muffins should be consumed immediately.

Q: Do you provide secure shopping online?

A: At The Basketry, we understand your concerns about the security of online transactions. Therefore, our site is equipped with the most advanced Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology available to ensure the privacy of any information you submit through this site.

Q: When will my order ship after I make the purchase online?

A: Most orders ship same day, unless noted otherwise. When you need a gift to arrive on a specific date, choose your Preferred Delivery Date at the check out process. We offer UPS Ground, 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air Saver delivery services.

Q: If you ship my gift basket, how long will it take to arrive?

A: Packages that are shipped via UPS Ground Shipping anywhere in the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska) will typically arrive within a window of 3 to 5 business days not counting the day you order. When you need a gift to arrive on a specific date, choose from our Expedited Shipping options at the checkout process.

Q: If you ship my gift basket how will it arrive?

A: Each gift basket is wrapped with clear shrink-wrap and has a beautiful bow tied to the outside. Every gift basket is made to order by our Creative Team, specifically designed for the shipping process and packed in a Basketry-labeled shipping box.

Q: I have a Basketry Loyalty Card, how do I use it online?

A: We are very happy to inform you that all online purchases result in reward points! Just type in your Loyalty Card number at the check out process in the Comments and Special Instructions box. Your Loyalty Card number can be found on the back top right hand corner of your card.
